Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate mobility, strength, and overall physical function through a variety of techniques, including standardized testing and observational assessments.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a mix of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education to address specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize advanced modalities and rehabilitation techniques, such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, self-management strategies, and injury prevention techniques to promote ongoing wellness.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize results and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, ligament repairs, and sports-related injuries. Our client population ranges from active adults to older individuals needing rehabilitation after acute injuries or chronic pain management. Your personalized approach will be critical in addressing a diverse array of conditions, ensuring each patient receives the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active or eligible Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred.
