Work Environment

In this full-time onsite role, you will be immersed in a vibrant rehabilitation facility where teamwork and collaboration are at the forefront. Your schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. You will work alongside a passionate team of medical professionals, including orthopedic surgeons and specialized therapists, and have access to a variety of resources and ongoing support to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial patient assessments to identify concerns, goals, and treatment needs specific to orthopedic conditions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, ensuring continuity and quality of care.

• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education on proper body mechanics to promote healing and recovery.

• Regularly monitor and document patient progress in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements, adjusting treatments as necessary to maximize outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, discussing cases and sharing insights to enhance patient care strategies.

• Engage patients and their families in the recovery process through education on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and long-term wellness strategies.

• Stay informed of the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices through continual professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, dealing with conditions ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic musculoskeletal pain. You will work with a diverse population, offering care to individuals from various age groups and backgrounds, each with unique challenges and rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinical setting. New graduates are also encouraged to apply if they possess strong clinical rotation experience in orthopedics.

• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques.

• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient education and empathy.

Preferred Experience

Experience with specialized orthopedic assessments, familiarity with modern rehabilitation technologies, and a background in functional movement analysis will be highly regarded. Experience in a collaborative team environment is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
