Join Environmental Tectonics Corporation (ETC), a thriving and dynamic Custom Manufacturing Company located just outside Philadelphia, PA. ETC is at the forefront of innovation, specializing in various industries, including Aircraft Training, Sterilization and Environmental Systems. We are currently expanding our team and seeking a talented Buyer to spearhead procurement activities.

Position Overview: As a Buyer at ETC, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of diverse goods and services, ranging from machined parts and custom fabricated sheet metal to raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies. We are looking for an individual with 2-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the realm of custom equipment manufacturing or related fields such as piping, electrical, or fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requisition and purchase order preparation

• Maintenance of procurement records (purchased costs, delivery, quality or performance and inventories)

• Strong vendor management and customer service skills. Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and customers is a must.

• Ability to read and interpret contract documents and technical specifications for accurate purchasing decisions

• Proactive, aggressive, self-motivated, highly organized, and efficient time management skills
