Work Environment

This onsite position offers the opportunity to work within a hospital setting that supports a collaborative approach between healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients suffering from acute and chronic pain, utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment protocols.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Engage in patient education by explaining pain management techniques and medication regimens clearly to enhance understanding and compliance.
• Coordinate with case management to establish and execute effective discharge planning for patients transitioning from inpatient care.
• Facilitate referrals from other physicians and serve as a consultant for patients requiring hospitalization, acting with a focus on meeting their specific healthcare needs.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with insurance requirements, efficiently managing appeals for any denials.
• Participate in both inpatient and outpatient consultations, which includes being available for on-call duties as required to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will primarily work with a diverse patient population experiencing a range of pain conditions, from postoperative pain to chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications
