Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and review patients' medical histories to assess their health status effectively.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests such as blood tests and imaging studies, ensuring timely and accurate results for continued patient management.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for both chronic and acute health conditions, ensuring a tailored approach to care.
• Educate patients and their families about their health issues, treatment options, and preventive measures, fostering a culture of informed decision-making.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses, making adjustments as necessary to optimize health outcomes.
• Stay abreast of advancements in health care and evidence-based practices through continuous professional development.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation and care coordination.
• Participate in daily rounds to review patient progress and collaborate with other healthcare team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Minimum of two years of proven experience in a family health clinic or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong foundational knowledge in family medicine and primary care.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing patient records.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or additional training in family medicine.
• Extensive clinical exposure to primary care and ambulatory medicine.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
• Demonstrated commitment to continued education and skill advancement.
• Possession of a valid DEA number.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
