Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support visitors with strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, deliver through teamwork, and act with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with school administrators, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to school property by observing entrances and exits, assisting with visitor check-in practices, and reporting security-related concerns, rule violations, and/or maintenance issues through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
