Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, helping to control access, verify permissions when required, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or policy-related issues.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
