Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Raleigh, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Fri 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM Sat 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Sun 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, helping to control access, verify permissions when required, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or policy‑related issues. Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned duties. Minimum Requirements Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
