As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Cary, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming atmosphere, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. In this role, you will deliver customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care for people, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify potential issues and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
