As a home health Occupational Therapist in this role, you will provide one-on-one, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes. Your typical day may include performing comprehensive functional and home safety assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and guiding patients through therapeutic activities designed to improve independence with daily tasks. You will help patients with bathing and dressing strategies, kitchen and household tasks, mobility around the home, and use of adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment.
