We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at BrightCare HomeCare in Lafayette, LA. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional home care services to individuals with disabilities, injuries, difficulties with mobility, or illnesses.
About the Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work closely with our clients, providing direct care services in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Providing personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including transfer, lifting, and ambulation
• Maintaining accurate records of client care and services provided
• Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Promoting independence, dignity, and well-being of our clients
Requirements:
• Current CNA certification in the state of Louisiana
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
