Regional Controller

Job Overview Ace Hardware Home Services is a collection of regional companies dedicated to helping homeowners complete home maintenance tasks. The Regional Controller will lead, guide, and oversee the finance function for specific remote business locations, driving the monthly close process, operational excellence, improved financial controls, and providing financial analysis and insight to advance key business decisions. Responsibilities Lead, guide, and oversee the finance function for remote business locations. Work with management to drive the monthly close process. Facilitate the administration of departmental budgets and forecasts. Provide financial analysis and insight to support key business decisions. Ensure operational excellence and improved financial controls. Lead projects, set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA or MBA a plus. 5-7 or more years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, auditing, or consulting. Proven leadership abilities. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills. Ability to establish effective working relationships with business‐operations and finance leaders and other company personnel of varying levels. Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills. In‐depth understanding of the relationships between operations and accounting. Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge. Service Titan and Sage Intacct experience a plus. Compensation $120.200 - $150.000 per year. Benefits Incentive opportunities based on role/grade level.
