Support Specialist

Responsibilities Serve as point of contact for agents/brokers by gathering information on behalf of the underwriters Answer questions and resolve low complexity issues Facilitate overall serving of accounts and processing business transactions Maintain a suspense and follow-up system for outstanding underwriting items Ensure accuracy of information inputted into all appropriate systems Verify that all necessary documentation is in the file Communicate with team members, agents/brokers and other key business partners Participate in problem solving activities to define problems, identify root causes, design and test solutions, implement solutions Under Underwriter direction, attach appropriate forms and make policy changes as requested Establish, support, and maintain effective relationships and/or regular contact with clients Requirements Typing 50+ wpm 5 years of MS Office skills preferred Ability to follow procedural guidelines and recognize exceptions to guidelines Successful experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Self-directed and highly productive with light supervision Comfortable with high volume workloads, fast-paced service standards and metric based performance assessment Detail-oriented, results-oriented and accuracy-focused Good verbal and written communication skills US Work Authorization required.
