Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify clients' mental health concerns and necessary therapeutic interventions.

• Develop individualized treatment plans designed to meet each client's unique issues and therapeutic goals, taking into account their personal and family dynamics.

• Facilitate evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to effectively support clients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to deliver comprehensive care and improve clinical outcomes.

• Engage family members in the therapeutic process, educating them about mental health and recovery to foster a supportive environment for clients.

• Maintain meticulous, ethical, and confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring client privacy and accuracy in record-keeping.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Strong empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences and challenges.

• Effective organizational and time management skills to balance client caseloads and administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, with practical knowledge of various therapeutic modalities.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in marriage and family therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Prior work in outpatient settings focusing on couples and family dynamics is highly desirable.
