Dietary Aide I - 7023US:CA:Santa Rosa | Dining & Food Services | Full Time, Hourly, 36+ hours a weekPay Range: $22.56 - $25.00Posted yesterdayDescriptionSpring Lake VillageUnder the direction of the Director of Dining Services or Executive Chef supervision, the Dietary Aide I prepares and delivers food trays to Skilled Nursing facility residents and performs designated work and cleaning routines by performing the following duties.Detailed responsibilities:Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfactionArrives to work on time, in proper clean uniform, good personal hygiene and with nametag visiblePre-assembles resident trays and carts as directed Assist in arranging tray cards, loading food carts, and serving mealsProvide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of mealsMeet scheduled meal and snack timesFollow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduledSetting up the dining room and serving residentsFollow defined safety codes while performing all dutiesFollow defined Infection Control proceduresBe knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Facility's rules, regulations, policies and proceduresPerform other department duties or special assignments as directed by the Dietary ManagerPrepares and delivers between meal nourishments and snacks to the nursing stationCleans and maintains dining area, including tables and furnishing after mealsEnsures dining room is clean and transports dishes, trash etc to appropriate areaFollows highest standards of cleanlinessFollows all federal, state and corporate policies, health codes and guidelines in preparation and handling of foodstuffsFollow department safety standards, practice correct body mechanic techniques and participate in campus-wide safety programsPerforms all duties in a safe and efficient manner Wears safety equipment as required for the job Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisorAttends all mandatory in-service meetings Complies with all department and facilities policies and proceduresUnderstand facility's fire and disaster plans; follow established procedures during drills and actual emergenciesCompetencies and skills:Must have the ability to distinguish between all whistle signals.Must be alert to and address any problems with pool and its operations.Credentials:Food Handlers' certification from local health departmentEducation with Equivalent Qualifications:Some High School EducationCompensation Disclaimer: The actual compensation offered will depend on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, training, education, and licensure/certifications (as applicable).Front Porch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
