Accountant

Our client has more than 8000 employees on five continents and their corporate office is located in Smyrna, TN. This company is one of the BEST in Rutherford County.  We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support the accounting department from now until the end of the year. Requirements for this position include a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, sound knowledge of accounting and economics, and excellent reasoning and math skills. Technical proficiences in MS Office and accounting software is also required.  This is a part-time position offering around 30 hours/week with a hybrid work schedule. 

salary: $35 - $50 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports to summarize income, expenses, and earnings .
• Assist with budget preparation and review budget proposals; prepare supporting documentation
• Provide management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress 
• Manage the general ledger including account reconciliations, preparation and input of journal entries, bank statement reconciliation, etc. 
• Bachelor's degree required
