Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and nurture trusting, therapeutic relationships with clients by actively listening and demonstrating empathy and understanding.

• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders, ensuring each client receives appropriate care.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, both individually and in group settings, to provide ongoing support and guidance.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to refer clients to specialists and additional resources, when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

They may seek support for issues such as relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use disorders. You will work closely with a diverse population, providing culturally-informed care that acknowledges and respects each client's background and specific circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Valid LMFT license in the state of Washington.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong therapeutic and counseling competencies, including the ability to motivate and engage clients effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling or working with co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
