Payroll Specialist

Industry leading company headquartered in South Jersey is looking to build out their payroll team. Company is widely recognized for their products and customer relationships including Wawa. Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring no missed punches prior to processing payroll and following up with the supervisors as needed Verify attendance, hours worked, pay adjustments, and post information Review WFM hours for accuracy in order to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies Responsible for processing the hourly payroll timely on a weekly basis Record employee information, such as exceptions, direct deport, pay adjustments, transfers, and resignations, in order to maintain and update payroll records. Compute wages and deductions based on applicable state and federal wage order guidelines Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance Keep informed about changes in payroll tax and deduction laws that apply to payroll process Partner with Human Resources on any payroll related changes Provide information to employees, management on payroll issues Equal Opportunity Employer Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
