The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious HR Consultant to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Hunt Valley, MD. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position, open to fully remote work.Responsibilities:Human Resources consulting and support to current HR clientsDevelop and administer processes for recruiting (including background checks), onboarding, enrollments/changes, training, compensation, performance management and off boarding (including exit interviews)Document all processes and proceduresCounsel employees and managers on employee relations issuesProvide payroll support when neededConduct client and manager training when neededParticipate in additional special projectsStay abreast of and comply with Federal, state and local laws and regulations; file applicable reporting data, e.g., EEO-1, medical and 401k 5500s, Vets 100Qualifications:5 - 7 years of HR industry experience requiredBachelor’s Degree in a business-related fieldHRIS/Payroll PlatformsMust have the ability to travel as neededProficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint requiredStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to prepare and present client presentations with clarity and understandingMust have strong internal and external customer service skills, with the ability to develop sound relationships with multiple clientsStrong teamwork orientationOrganizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines requiredDemonstrated professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives requiredMust have demonstrated ability to work independently and ability to solve complex problems with little assistanceBenefits:Compensation: $75,000-$90,000/yr.Company Paid Life Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability.Medical, Dental, Vision and FSA/HSA plans.401(k) with company match.Additional voluntary benefits including Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity and Supplemental Life Insurance, Legal and Identity Protection, and Pet benefits.Generous PTO.An awesome team of professionals!The Hilb Group is an equal opportunity employer, and we actively support and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws prohibiting all forms of discrimination in employment.
