Billing Specialist

Position: Billing Specialist Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (hybrid, 3 days/week in office) Pay: $85,000 to $95,000 annually Experience: 3+ years of law firm experience. Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our dynamic law firm client! Job Description Review/edit monthly prebills including write-offs, transfers, and holds. Submit invoices electronically by utilizing eBillingHub (or BillBlast) and eBilling portals. Update and maintain billing and client contact information/billing guidelines through 3E to sync information for submission of invoices. Assist attorneys and support staff with invoice inquiries and research and resolve discrepancies with rates, budgets, SIRs, deductibles, and verify any short pay and write-off activities. Position Requirements Must have outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. Experience with Elite 3E (or Aderant) and commonly used eBilling portals is required (firm uses Legal X, TyMetrix, Collaborati, CounselLink, SIMS). Experience with eBillingHub and BillBlast is strongly preferred.
