ResponsibilitiesManage the hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and the onboarding process for new hires.Handle workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions while maintaining a positive work environment.Creating and enforcing company policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and nonprofit regulations (e.g., grant related employment terms).Overseeing employee evaluations, setting goals, and supporting managers in improving performance.Identifying training needs, organizing programs, and supporting career development initiatives.Administering salary structures, benefits programs, and ensuring market competitiveness.Maintaining confidential employee records and ensuring accurate documentation.Promoting a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations.Collaborating with leadership to align HR practices with organizational goals.Developing initiatives to boost morale, productivity, and retention.Conduct exit interviews, facilitate offboarding processes, and provide feedback to enhance retention and employee experience.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure policies and practices are equitable and inclusive, reflecting PRN's mission and unique environment.Partner with managers and employees to support PRN's performance management processes, providing coaching, tools, and resources that align with the organization's values of hope, healing, and personal growth.Assist with the creation and management of individualized development plans and feedback mechanisms.Provide accurate data and documentation to facilitate timely and accurate payroll processing.Facilitate DEI-related initiatives, training, and policy development.Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, including personnel files, disciplinary actions, training logs, and compliance documentation.Continuously assess and improve HR functions, incorporating feedback and emerging trends in the nonprofit, peer-led community.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.Human Resources certification, e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, is preferred.3-5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally including work in a nonprofit setting. Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.Proficiency with HRIS systems and common office software (e.g., Excel, MS workspace, HR platforms).Demonstrates leadership by modeling PRNs mission, values, philosophy, and guidance to team members.Demonstrates taking personal responsibility, being dependable, reliable, working as a team player, and utilizing personal determination skills.Demonstrates honesty, integrity, is ethical and approachable.Ability to interact effectively with the public, providers, and other stakeholders.Ability to manage time and complete tasks.Demonstrate honesty, and integrity, is ethical, and is approachable.Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
