About the Firm We are a well‑established regional law firm with offices across the Southeast and Texas, offering a broad range of litigation and business services to companies, insurers, and public entities. Our litigation team handles commercial disputes, insurance defense, labor and employment, and specialized areas such as eminent domain and infrastructure projects. Salary $160,000 - $400,000 per year. Position We are seeking a seasoned Real Estate Attorney with a focus on eminent domain. This is a permanent position that provides an opportunity to work on complex, high‑profile cases and contribute to the growth and success of our firm. Responsibilities Provide expert legal counsel on all matters related to real estate law, especially eminent domain. Conduct thorough depositions and ensure all relevant information is accurately recorded. Manage all aspects of right‑of‑way acquisitions, including negotiations, legal documentation, and dispute resolution. Represent the firm and its clients in court, presenting clear and compelling arguments. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates. Stay up‑to‑date with developments in real estate law and eminent domain, applying this knowledge to benefit clients and the firm. Collaborate effectively with other members of the legal team to foster a positive work environment. Handle a high volume of cases, managing workload effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high standards. Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Admission to the Texas state bar. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a real‑estate litigation attorney with a focus on eminent domain. Proven experience conducting depositions and managing right‑of‑way acquisitions. Strong litigation skills and a track record of success in court. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable outcomes for clients. Exceptional communication skills, able to explain complex legal concepts clearly. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Up‑to‑date knowledge of real‑estate law and eminent domain, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
