Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist Location: New Windsor, NY Type: Full-time We are working with a well-established engineering consultancy looking to bring on a Payroll Specialist to support their growing operations. You'll take ownership of payroll processing and support HR/Finance in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery across the business. Key Responsibilities Process payroll end‑to‑end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Handle payroll taxes, deductions, benefits, and reconciliations Prepare payroll reports and assist with month‑end close activities Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies Support audits and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems Requirements 2+ years of payroll experience Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Workday, UKG, or similar) High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally #J-18808-Ljbffr LVI Associates
