Payroll Specialist

Duration: 06 Months Contract + Possibility of Extension Location: Jersey City NJ USA Pay Rate: $49.00 - $65.00 hourly on W2 Role Overview Key Responsibilities Perform payroll data analysis and reconciliation. Research and troubleshoot payroll issues. Analyze payroll data using Excel and Oracle reports. Support US multi-state payroll operations. Occasionally assist the international payroll team, but primary focus is US payroll. Must-Have Skills Minimum 3 years of relevant experience . Payroll experience, preferably using Oracle Payroll . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with data reconciliation and research. Good technical aptitude. Strong Excel skills (Intermediate required, Advanced preferred). Preferred Skills Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll is strongly preferred. Any Oracle Payroll experience will also be considered. Additional Hiring Manager Insights Looking for candidates who can independently solve problems and analyze payroll data. Strong emphasis on analytical thinking over processing high payroll volumes. Experience handling a large employee population is not required. Reporting and reconciliation are primarily completed using Excel and Oracle-generated reports.
