Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments that include detailed medical history, physical examinations, and symptom reviews.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of dermatologic diseases and conditions, both acute and chronic.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging studies to enhance patient treatment plans.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling on preventive care, health maintenance, and disease management, helping patients understand their conditions fully.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care and ensure seamless continuity of treatment.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient encounters, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-ups in our electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner at Radiant Skin Dermatology, your primary focus will be on patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our clinic specializes in various skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers. You will play a critical role in educating patients about skin health and providing tailored treatment plans to ensure their needs are met effectively.

Qualifications

• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in any state, with recognition or eligibility for New Jersey licensure.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an advanced practice nursing field.
• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in Medical Dermatology, showcasing strong diagnostic skills and treatment proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and healthcare team members.

Compensation and Benefits
