Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories and perform physical examinations to assess skin conditions.
• Order and interpret relevant laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform clinical decisions.
• Devise and implement effective pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal care and outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment options, helping them understand their health better.
• Perform specialized procedures within your scope of training and privileges, enhancing the range of services we offer.
• Document patient encounters meticulously in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with Physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in achieving and maintaining payer performance measures, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient base that includes individuals of all ages presenting with various dermatological issues, ranging from common skin conditions like acne and eczema to more complex diseases such as skin cancers. Your role is pivotal in alleviating physical discomfort and addressing aesthetic concerns, reinforcing our commitment to holistic patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant within the State of New Jersey, along with current CPR certification.
• A valid state license to practice as a PA, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience working in an interactive clinical setting as a Physician Assistant, preferably in dermatology or a related specialty.
• Familiarity with standard medical office equipment and proficiency in using computerized systems, especially EMR.

Compensation and Benefits
