Work Environment

Our surgical center operates in a dynamic setting where teamwork and swift decision-making are paramount. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with a shift starting at 5:00 PM, covering a total of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to trauma alerts and conducting thorough assessments of patients' conditions upon arrival.
• Stabilizing patients and administering essential treatments to prevent complications and deterioration.
• Assisting in resuscitation procedures and delivering life-saving interventions during emergency scenarios.
• Coordinating care with a multidisciplinary trauma team to ensure seamless treatment plans.
• Performing comprehensive physical examinations and accurately interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by supervising physicians.
• Supporting invasive medical procedures and managing wound treatment protocols.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding trauma care and the recovery process.
• Facilitating the transfer of trauma patients to appropriate units or specialized care settings.
• Monitoring patients' pain levels and managing discomfort effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with successful completion of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
