Position Overview

Ensured Care Medical Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team within the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care (CACC) located in Toms River, New Jersey. As a full-time member of our outpatient cardiology practice, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional healthcare to patients with a range of cardiology-related conditions. Your work will be instrumental in contributing to improved health outcomes through a collaborative approach with our multidisciplinary team.

Work Environment

This position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office, designed to offer a comfortable and efficient atmosphere for both patients and staff. You will work closely under the supervision of the Chief Nurse Practitioner and the Medical Director of the Division of Cardiology. Your daily working hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, without the demands of on-call duty, night shifts, or weekend responsibilities, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a specialized team of Cardiologists and Nurse Practitioners to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Manage chronic conditions such as Hypertension and High Cholesterol, crafting individualized treatment plans to optimize patient health.
• Provide outpatient Electrophysiology services, addressing cases involving abnormal electrocardiograms, arrhythmias, and implantable cardiac devices.
• Evaluate and manage acute cardiac conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, and Congestive Heart Failure, ensuring timely interventions.
• Conduct non-invasive Stress Testing and interpret results to inform patient management strategies.
• Work jointly with on-site Cardiologists for consultation and supervisory guidance on complex cases.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists as required, ensuring continuity of care across the patient journey.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, treatment options, and health maintenance strategies to empower their participation in care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner in our cardiology practice, you will provide care to a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals experiencing various cardiovascular conditions. Your commitment to patient education and preventive care will be key in managing chronic conditions and enhancing overall health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and have successfully completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree relevant to advanced practice nursing.
• Current certification by a recognized nursing board and possess an active state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey.
• Completion of a relevant certification exam pertaining to the NP specialty.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient or inpatient cardiology settings is highly desired.
• Trained in areas such as Electrophysiology, Arrhythmia management, and Stress Testing is a plus.
• Both seasoned Nurse Practitioners and recent graduates with a passion for cardiology are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
