Capital Healthcare Center is excited to offer an opportunity for a full-time Physician Assistant to join our reputable OB/GYN specialty clinic located in Lakewood, New Jersey. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with an established team of OB/GYNs and Advanced Practice Clinicians. Work Environment

This full-time position entails a standard work schedule consisting of 40 hours per week, with no on-call responsibilities. You will practice exclusively in a clinic-based environment, with access to the full support of Medical Doctors when needed. Our facility is designed to encourage collaborative care, ensuring you have the resources and support to excel in your role. An emphasis is placed on maintaining a comfortable work-life balance, allowing you to focus on patient care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an independent patient panel while also assisting with physician overflow, ensuring a smooth flow of patient care.

• Provide comprehensive gynecological care, including performing various procedures such as IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, colposcopies (if trained), and circumcisions (if trained).

• Utilize your full scope of practice by employing advanced medical assessments and treatments while supported by experienced physicians.

• Participate in continuous professional development opportunities, including leadership training and involvement in the APC council, fostering ongoing education and support within the team.

• Document patient assessments and treatment plans using the EPIC EMR system, ensuring accurate and thorough record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population, focusing on women’s health related to obstetrics and gynecology. The clinic aims to provide holistic care that meets the unique needs of each patient, emphasizing preventative care, routine check-ups, and addressing gynecological issues. Your role will be integral to enhancing our patients’ health outcomes and overall experience within the healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Physician Assistant Certification and possess an unrestricted state medical license in New Jersey.

• A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably with a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.

• Full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory, in compliance with local and federal regulations.

• Active listening, critical thinking, effective communication, and time management skills are essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in an OB/GYN setting, is preferred.

• Familiarity with EPIC EMR documentation or equivalent electronic medical records systems.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physician Assistant position comes with a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $180,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications.
