Work Environment

This role is based entirely in our hospital facility in Lakewood, New Jersey, where you will enjoy a collegial atmosphere conducive to providing high-quality care. Operating primarily during weekdays, you will be part of a structured workweek with no on-call duties, allowing for work-life balance and dedicated time for patient interaction. Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own panel of patients while also caring for physician overflow, ensuring that all patients receive timely and effective treatment.
• Collaborate closely with MDs to provide comprehensive care, leveraging their expertise and support whenever needed.
• Engage in a fully clinic-based practice, focusing on high-quality outpatient care without the pressures associated with hospital call schedules.
• Perform essential clinical procedures including IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, comprehensive women's wellness exams, and colposcopies where trained.
• Participate in the Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) council, contributing to discussions focused on clinical excellence and efficiency.
• Engage in ongoing leadership training and mentorship opportunities to expand your professional skill set and prepare for future roles.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will address a spectrum of health issues, from routine wellness exams to more complex conditions requiring specialized care. Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant Certification.
• Completed a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Possession of an unrestricted State Medical License in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated experience or training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR or similar electronic health record systems.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement, in compliance with applicable state regulations.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates with practical experience in a busy clinical setting focused on women's health, particularly those who have engaged in procedures like IUD placements and gynecological biopsies. Familiarity with team-based care models and a proactive approach to patient management will be viewed favorably as they are essential to our practice philosophy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is highly competitive, ranging from $140,000 to $180,000 per year, reflecting your skills and experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
