Mary Mediclinic and Physical Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management to join our team in Lakewood, New Jersey. This role is integral to our Primary Care outpatient office, where you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients on various health conditions and practices. Work Environment

This position is full-time, with a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Our onsite hospital facility is designed to create a supportive environment where team members can thrive while providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, physical therapists, and nursing staff to ensure holistic treatment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and review patients' medical histories for effective diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including blood analysis and imaging studies to clarify patients' health status.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for managing chronic pain and addressing acute health issues.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment protocols to ensure patient safety and efficacy.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient progress and treatment modifications.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and prevention strategies to empower informed health decisions.
• Promote disease prevention initiatives and wellness strategies to improve overall health outcomes.
• Engage in research initiatives and training opportunities to advance your clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse population, ranging from individuals suffering from chronic pain to those requiring immediate care for acute health issues. You will play a crucial role in understanding each patient’s unique circumstances, tailoring treatment approaches to meet their specific needs and fostering a supportive environment for their health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
• A valid New Jersey Physician Assistant license and certification as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C).
• Active DEA number to prescribe controlled substances.
• Strong understanding of health and patient care regulations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to develop rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work with integrity and uphold ethical standards in healthcare practices.
• Proficient in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical setting, focusing on pain management or primary care.
• Experience in acute care, internal medicine, family health, urgent care, or emergency medicine.
• Bilingual proficiency is considered a plus, enhancing communication with a wider patient demographic.

Compensation and Benefits
