Pain Management Nurse Practitioner - Full-Time Onsite Position

Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite at our outpatient office, where you will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations to assess pain levels and relevant health challenges.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory tests, to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized medication management plans, including both narcotic and non-narcotic options, adhering to established practice guidelines.
• Evaluate patients for interventional pain treatment options such as epidural steroid injections, trigger point injections, and spinal cord stimulator placements.
• Perform specific procedures such as trigger point and greater occipital nerve blocks, and the removal of temporary SCS leads.
• Maintain patient records meticulously, documenting assessments, medications, and treatment methodologies in our electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily suffer from chronic pain conditions that significantly affect their daily lives. Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to a diverse client population, including adults and seniors with complex pain syndromes. Your role will also require cultivating strong relationships with these patients to support not just their physical health, but their emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong foundation in geriatrics or experience with an older adult population will be advantageous.

Preferred Experience

While new graduates are encouraged to apply, we particularly welcome candidates who have experience in critical care, family practice, pediatrics, telemedicine, or any clinical setting involving direct patient care. Those with prior exposure to pain management or anesthesia-related practices will find this role especially suitable.

Compensation and Benefits
