Work Environment

This position is predominantly onsite within a school setting, ensuring that our services reach a diverse population of students and families in need of pain management support. The work schedule typically runs from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics that may extend until 8:00 p.m. Furthermore, participation in weekend community outreach events, such as health fairs, is expected to promote awareness and provide essential health screenings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings specifically designed to identify pain-related issues within the community.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic pain conditions, implementing preventive care and health promotion strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with local healthcare organizations and stakeholders to design and execute community-focused health education programs that address pain management and overall wellness.
• Deliver culturally sensitive care, advocating for patients’ rights, and ensuring they have access to necessary healthcare resources.
• Coordinate referrals and manage follow-up care, providing a seamless patient experience while ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records according to regulatory standards, supporting high-quality patient care and clinical excellence.
• Engage in community outreach activities to raise awareness of pain management resources, benefiting populations who may not typically seek assistance.
• Continuously update knowledge on community health trends, evidence-based practices, and relevant healthcare policies to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and an active state nursing license.

Compensation and Benefits
