Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at a school healthcare facility, providing a vibrant and dynamic work environment. The clinic operates primarily during standard school hours, but flexibility is key, as we occasionally extend our hours for evening clinics and community outreach events. The work schedule encompasses a typical week of around 40 hours, with potential evening clinics lasting until 8:00 p.m. and occasional weekend events to increase community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students and family members in our community, ensuring individualized care plans.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, designed to promote preventive care and overall health education.
• Collaborate with local community organizations to develop health education programs that educate families on various health topics, including nutrition, physical activity, and mental health.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and work tirelessly to ensure equitable access to healthcare services for all individuals.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care, ensuring seamless continuity in patient management and health monitoring.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
