Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations to identify both normal and abnormal dermatological conditions.
• Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory and diagnostic tests to assist in formulating an accurate diagnosis.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop individualized care plans that include both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatments.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions, explaining treatment options clearly and professionally.
• Perform minor dermatological procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments, as per delegated privileges.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Work closely with the practice administrator to support operational objectives and participate actively in the growth initiatives of our center.
• Assist in achieving payer performance measures through diligent clinical care and documentation.
• Engage in continuous professional development to remain current with advancements in dermatology.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, including individuals of all ages presenting with a variety of skin-related concerns. Qualifications

• A diploma from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant in New Jersey and current CPR certification.
• A valid NJ state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, focusing on interactive patient care.
• Proficiency in using medical software and standard office equipment, including EMR systems.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year in a clinical care setting is required, experience specifically in dermatology is preferred. Compensation and Benefits
