Business Development & Marketing Specialist Company: Tradewind Flight Services Location: 820 Aviation Dr, New Bern Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt Job Summary Tradewind Flight Services is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Business Development & Marketing Specialist to help expand our Flight Academy and promote our aviation services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys marketing, networking, business growth, and building relationships while working in a dynamic aviation environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Business Development Help identify and pursue new business opportunities. Research potential markets, customers, and industry trends. Build relationships with prospective clients and business partners. Assist with presentations, proposals, and client communications. Support initiatives that drive company growth. Marketing & Brand Promotion Create and publish engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and community outreach efforts. Help maintain and strengthen the Tradewind brand. Track campaign performance and recommend improvements. Support participation in local events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Relationship Building Represent Tradewind Flight Services at community and industry events. Develop relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders. Help create positive experiences that strengthen client trust and loyalty. Work closely with leadership and operations teams to support company objectives. Share ideas and insights that improve marketing efforts and customer engagement. Assist with reporting and tracking key business initiatives. Qualifications Experience or education in marketing, communications, business development, sales, public relations, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using social media and digital marketing platforms. Organized, motivated, and eager to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
