Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers’ properties from wood destroying organisms. As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers. Responsibilities Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to the treatment process Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment Complete production forms documenting services provided Interact with customers and explain services provided Essential Job Functions Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations Prepare the job site for treatment Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders Comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus Ability to work on roofs and high areas Lots of movement — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and navigating stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator, and work in confined spaces or narrow passageways where pests live What do you need? Clean-shaven face for safety reasons High school diploma or GED Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided) At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Be flexible with working hours, Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us) Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels Pay Range Hourly: $16.90 - $21.00 Why Choose Us?
