Electronics Test Technician

Job TitleJob Description Required Education/Experience: Associate's degree in an electrical or engineering field Required Qualifications: Assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic components, circuit boards, and systems. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering documentation. Perform hardware testing using oscilloscopes, power supplies, AC/DC loads and sources, signal generators, data acquisition systems, and other laboratory equipment. Conduct thermal and environmental testing, including operation of environmental chambers. Support EMI/EMC testing and apply applicable test methods and best practices. Prepare prototypes and test samples by installing probes, building wire harnesses, and developing test fixtures. Perform soldering and rework, including fine-pitch electronic components, following quality standards. Verify equipment calibration status and execute testing per approved procedures and work instructions. Collect, analyze, and interpret test data; prepare technical reports and recommendations. Maintain test records, equipment logs, and laboratory documentation. Collaborate with engineers to support product development, validation testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
