Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs and determine an appropriate treatment strategy.

• Developing culturally sensitive and family-focused treatment plans tailored to the unique backgrounds and challenges faced by clients.
\n
• Providing outpatient mental health services, including individual and family counseling sessions, using trauma-informed practices to ensure client safety and comfort.

• Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including case coordinators and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessment records, in compliance with program standards and deadlines.

• Managing a designated caseload, which will be determined based on organizational needs, while providing crisis interventions when necessary.

• Performing other related duties and responsibilities to adapt to the ever-evolving needs of the organization and its clients.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold:

• A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

• An active clinical license in the state of California, such as LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or other equivalent clinical licensure as approved by our hiring manager. Note: We will not accept any licensure that requires supervision.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly with vulnerable or marginalized populations.

• Experience implementing trauma-informed care practices and working collaboratively in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 , commensurate with experience. In addition to a strong salary, we provide:
