Our goal is to find an employee who will benefit the growth of Bowman and the employee.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various CNC Machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments, and document per customer quality requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and bore gauges
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure their optimal performance

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a machinist or similar role
- Proficiency in working with power tools, hand tools, and tooling
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
