Requirements

• Compact state license must be in hand at submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM (NRP preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:2

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide care to patients during labor and delivery, including high-risk antepartum and postpartum conditions.

Monitor maternal and fetal health using various fetal monitoring techniques.

Assist in procedures such as C-sections and support neonatal resuscitation efforts.

Manage medications related to labor and delivery including insulin drips and magnesium sulfate.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and newborns.

Educate patients and families on the birthing process and postpartum recovery.

Compliance / Notes

Must have 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Must commit to working 3 of 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Orientation duration is 12 hours with modules to be completed pre-start
