About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Advancement to spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive advancement strategy. This senior leadership role is pivotal in leading all fundraising and donor engagement efforts, including major gifts, annual giving, corporate sponsorships, and various philanthropic campaigns. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders to build and maintain meaningful relationships that secure philanthropic support for the organization's programs and initiatives. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Advancement Department, fostering a culture of philanthropy, and ensuring that all fundraising activities align with the organization's mission and strategic priorities. Applicants for the Vice President of Advancement position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of nonprofit fundraising experience, with a proven track record in securing major gifts and other philanthropic investments. The role requires a candidate with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Essential duties also include donor and community engagement, advancement operations, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree or certification preferred) and a demonstrated commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and mission-driven leadership.
