Payroll Specialist

Job Description Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Phoenix. AZ Salary: $24/hr - $29/hr Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with at least 2 years of payroll experience to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be familiar with piece rate pay. Strong Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and export data, are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Manage and calculate piece rate pay for applicable employees. Maintain payroll records and ensure all data is accurate and up to date. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed. Assist with the reconciliation of payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Stay informed of current payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll processing. Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries from employees. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience. Experience in the construction industry is a plus. Familiarity with piece rate pay structures. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manipulate and export data. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
