Payroll Specialist

Overview Vaco is working with a company seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support a high-volume, fast‑paced environment. This is a full‑time opportunity paying up to $32 per hour depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Process and close multiple weekly payrolls Collect and import employee time from managers Review and resolve timecard discrepancies Process certified payroll and ensure compliance Track employee advances, deductions, and paybacks Maintain payroll records, tax filings, and reports Partner with HR, finance, and other teams to ensure accurate employee data Handle payroll-related employee questions and support Assist with reconciliations and payroll reporting Requirements 3+ years of payroll experience Experience with certified payroll preferred Compensation and Benefits Salary range: up to $32 per hour depending on experience. Eligible for discretionary bonuses, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
