In this full-time remote position, you will play a vital role in providing critically needed support to individuals struggling with trauma and mental health challenges. Work Environment\n

Our practice operates primarily through telehealth, allowing you to consult with clients from the comfort and safety of your home. We embrace flexibility in our scheduling, offering appointment slots from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and identify appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience within the therapeutic context.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their experiences, develop effective coping methods, and promote healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care, maintaining constant communication on client progress and adjustments needed in treatment.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-induced emergencies, demonstrating calmness and professionalism in high-stress situations.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources needed for recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of care and professionalism.

• Participate in case consultations and team professional development sessions focused on trauma-informed care practices and research.
\n
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on clients who are dealing with the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, and various mental health disorders. We cater to a diverse patient demographic that often requires a trauma-informed approach to achieve meaningful progress in therapy. By understanding the unique challenges faced by our clients, you will be able to implement tailored interventions that support their specific healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• A strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
\n
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Practical experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• A willingness to work with couples, as we provide specialized training for those interested.
\n
• A strong inclination towards self-direction and organization, with an expectation to complete clinical notes within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer guaranteed pay with annual increases and performance-based bonus opportunities. Additional benefits include:
