Business Analyst

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for insurance or financial services projects. Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog. Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Act as a trusted liaison between internal stakeholders (business, operations, compliance, technology) and external partners or vendors. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including defining test scenarios and verifying that delivered solutions meet requirements. Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience. Maintain clear, organized documentation that is accessible for both business and technical audiences. Identify risks, dependencies, or gaps and elevate them as needed to keep delivery on track. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance or financial services industry. Hands‑on experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid). Solid understanding of industry processes (e.g., policy administration, claims, billing, banking operations, compliance). Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences. Proven experience interacting with internal stakeholders and external partners or vendors. Proficiency with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is preferred. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels. Collaborative team player who thrives in an Agile, change‑driven environment.
