Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Focused on reinsurance accounting and financial analysis for life and annuity products, the full-time Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will manage technical accounting matters, support financial reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement new reinsurance transactions. Key responsibilities Support research and documentation of reinsurance accounting under GAAP and statutory frameworks Prepare analyses of accounting treatments for complex transactions and lead components of the reinsurance accounting close process Drive ad hoc initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new reinsurance arrangements Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred 3+ years of experience in reinsurance accounting for life and annuity insurance Proficiency in accounting principles for life insurance and annuity products Experience in public accounting, including preparation and audit of financial statements Ability to work a flexible schedule, especially during quarter and year-ends
