Compliance Associate: Build a Strong Regulatory Framework

Our client is looking for a detail‑oriented Compliance Associate to support its expanding Legal & Compliance function. This position offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to the buildout and refinement of the firm’s compliance framework. The individual in this role will be actively involved in day‑to‑day compliance operations, helping ensure processes are efficient, well‑structured, and aligned with regulatory expectations. Responsibilities Review pitch decks and advertisements subject to the SEC Marketing Rule in accordance with regulatory guidance Collaborate with internal stakeholders to update and publish firmwide policies and procedures Assist in the development and administration of the Vendor Management program for onboarding third‑party providers Administer the firm’s Code of Ethics, including Personal Trading, Gifts & Entertainment, and Political Contributions policies, using third‑party compliance software Qualifications 2–4 years of relevant compliance experience, including at least 1+ years in‑house at a registered investment adviser, hedge fund, asset manager, or investment bank Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field Demonstrated operational excellence with the ability to work independently and contribute to building effective compliance infrastructure Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally with internal teams Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting policies and procedures Experience with compliance software (e.g., ComplySci) and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint #J-18808-Ljbffr JW Michaels & Co.
