Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, identifying symptoms, challenges, and goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring a tailored approach to care.

• Facilitate engaging individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential client records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate care and support clients' diverse needs.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, webinars, and training programs to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Cornerstone Therapy and Wellness, you will serve a varied client base spanning all ages and backgrounds. This includes children struggling with behavioral issues, adolescents coping with anxiety and depression, adults dealing with life transitions or relationship challenges, and couples seeking to strengthen their bond. Your expertise will be vital in creating a safe, supportive space for all clients, fostering trust and openness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• An active and valid PA clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of full-time, direct experience providing mental health services across all age groups.

• Demonstrated ability to assess and diagnose mental health conditions effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships.

• Adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years is required, additional years of clinical experience, particularly in outpatient settings, will be considered a strong asset. Familiarity with Simple Practice or similar electronic record systems is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
