Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, creating individualized treatment plans that prioritize their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement efficient treatment protocols, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailored therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout the rehabilitation process, making necessary adjustments to therapeutic programs as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide hands-on therapy in various modalities, from manual therapy techniques to the use of therapeutic devices, ensuring each session aligns with the physician's plan of care.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on exercises, rehabilitation tools, and home practices necessary for continued recovery outside of the clinical environment.
• Work closely with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, facilitate communication, and support comprehensive treatment planning.
• Manage caseload effectively, ensuring efficient use of time and resources while prioritizing patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you'll primarily focus on adult patients with various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, as well as pediatrics with specific rehabilitation needs. Our interdisciplinary approach emphasizes treating the whole person, addressing both physical and emotional aspects of recovery. Qualifications

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification; must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• A strong commitment to providing patient-focused care, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally within a rehabilitation facility or hospital.

Compensation and Benefits
